This week Foam Engineers Limited hosted a joint meeting at our offices in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire between the aircraft manufacturer Airbus and PPG Industries, the world’s leading coatings and specialty products and services company.

The three delegates from Airbus were invited from their operations in Toulouse in Southern France and PPG Industries were represented by senior personnel from their UK manufacturing facility. Representing Foam Engineers Limited was James Wiles (Managing Director), Michael Clare (New Business Development Manager) and David Cordell (Production Engineer).

Foam Engineers Limited is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract to supply a leading data centre and server room cabinet manufacturer.

We were approached by the company to provide technical foams to fulfil their air filtration and acoustic insulation requirements and quickly recognised how we could work in partnership.

Utilising our extensive material database of reticulated open cell filter Polyester foams, fire retardant Polyurethane Polyether foams and the comprehensive Armacell product range we were able to satisfy the client’s stringent specifications.

We are pleased to announce our new server is up and running, computers and printers installed and staff receiving training on the latest Office, Accounts and CAD software to enable them to fully utilise this major investment.

It’s been a challenging time for all here at Foam Engineers and we would also like to take the time to say thank you to our valued customers for their patience during this upgrade.

As we move forward into this Olympic year we shall exploit the advantages of a modern computer system and build upon our strengths to deliver superior customer service and lean manufacturing.
