Foam Engineers Limited is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract to supply a leading data centre and server room cabinet manufacturer.
We were approached by the company to provide technical foams to fulfil their air filtration and acoustic insulation requirements and quickly recognised how we could work in partnership.
Utilising our extensive material database of reticulated open cell filter Polyester foams, fire retardant Polyurethane Polyether foams and the comprehensive Armacell product range we were able to satisfy the client’s stringent specifications.
Our pore controlled Polyester reticulated foams with a uniform pore size ranging from between 500 to 5200 micron provided the precise level of air flow necessary for their equipment to operate at the optimum temperature. All of our Polyester filter foams meet the fire rating FMVSS 302 and can even be post treated to obtain the higher standard of UL94 V0, UL94 HF1 or Class 1 building regs.
The customer’s acoustic issues were taken care of by supplying purposely designed die cut panels in either a UL94 HF1 Polyether Polyurethane or the Armacell product ArmaSound RD depending upon the specific location. The two options were supplied with a self-adhesive backing allowing the customer to quickly bond the foam panels to the metal work saving vital time and money on in-house assembly.
Michael Clare, New Business Development Manager commented.
“This new on-going order exemplifies the strengths of Foam Engineers Limited as the leading technical foam supplier in the UK. We are pleased to be able to offer a portfolio of diverse materials manufactured across the globe to meet our customers’ exacting requirements.”
