McLaren Becomes New Client of Foam Engineers

As a result of Foam Engineers Limited displaying at this year’s Southern Manufacturing show we are proud to receive our first order from McLaren Applied Technologies.

Foam Engineers worked closely with their Woking based engineers to design a Polyethylene foam insert to house automotive alternator components for internal transit around their first class facility.

This week Foam Engineers are proud to have been awarded a certificate of recognition for our donations to Wycombe Resource Zone (WRZ). WRZ are a local service who use business waste, like ours, and turn it into creative materials and educational resources which can then be reused by many of the local community groups such as schools and community artists.

Precision Medical Device Foam Product

Foam Engineers Limited was recently contacted by a medical device company requiring comfort foam for a relaxation and stress management tool.

The brief was to produce a foam face mask in a soft, comfortable, non-irritating Polyurethane foam preferably with a self-adhesive backing for the customer to simply remove the backing paper and apply to their product.

At Foam Engineers we supply ArmaSound® RD in 6mm foam sheet for customers throughout the UK. ArmaSound® RD is acoustic absorption foam which has flexibility for a vast array of different acoustic applications.

As well as the high performance acoustic sound absorption, ArmaSound® RD can also be used in environments as a barrier for transmission loss and provides dampening of acoustic vibrations. With the ability to isolate sound frequencies through its decoupling properties, it can significantly reduce noise levels.
